Kondo Hall (main hall), Daigo-ji Buddhist temple, in Kyoto, Honshu island, Japan. Originally built in 926, the current Kondo Hall was relocated to Daigoji in 1599 and stores the temple's main object of worship, a seated statue of the Yakushi Buddha. Daigo-ji Buddhist temple is one of Kyoto's seventeen UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
