This 1845 covered bridge (168 feet long, designed with Burr arch trusses) spanned the Lamoille River for over 100 years before being moved to the Shelburne Museum in 1951. Shelburne Museum is one of the finest, most diverse, unconventional museums of American folk art. Visit this extensive museum in the town of Shelburne, near Lake Champlain, in Vermont, USA. Over 150,000 works are exhibited in 38 buildings, 25 of which are historic (relocated from New England and New York).
