Lupin (or lupine) flowers bloom along the Pacific Crest Trail on the east flank of Naches Peak, in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington, USA. Lupinus is a genus in the pea family (also called the legume, bean, or pulse family: Fabaceae or Leguminosae).
