I hiked Ice Lakes Basin as a memorable loop (8.9 miles with 3120 feet gain) from USFS South Mineral Campground to Lower and Upper Ice Lakes, then up to Fuller Lake, and back via Island Lake, near Silverton, Colorado, USA. Or, to Upper Ice Lake alone is 7.4 miles round trip with 2400 ft gain. Silverton, San Juan Mountains, Colorado, USA.
