In Upper Engadine, walk to Zuoz, Switzerland, in the Alps, Europe.

A fountain flows in the main square of Zuoz. San Luzi protestant parish church was built in Gothic style in Zuoz, one of the best preserved villages in Upper Engadine. Visit Graubünden canton in Switzerland, the Alps, Europe. Sgraffito (or scraffito, plural: sgraffiti) is a technique of wall decor where layers of plaster tinted in contrasting colors are applied to a moistened surface. The Swiss valley of Engadine translates as the “garden of the En (or Inn) River” (Engadin in German, Engiadina in Romansh, Engadina in Italian). The church steeple pierces a blue sky.
