The spiny shrub Llaulli (Barnadesia macbridae/horrida) is in the daisy/aster family (Asteraceae/Compositae), with a pink/magenta flower. The species has evolved to attract Hummingbirds as pollinators. Common names of this plant include clavelillo, chivo caspi, espino de gato, and espino santo.
