Hike around the Croda da Lago clockwise with a rough rocky descent (loop 8.2 miles with 2800 feet gain and loss), starting from the trailhead at "Ponte de Ru Curto" below Passo di Giau, above Cortina d'Ampezzo. The easier round trip walk to Lago Federa only is 5 miles with 1650 feet gain.
