First mentioned in the 500s AD, Highland cattle (Scots: Heilan coo, slang: curly coo) have long horns and long wavy coats and are primarily for meat. They originated in the Highlands and Western Isles of Scotland. Today we toured North York Moors National Park from Grosmont to Robin Hood's Bay on foot and via van, plus Whitby on the Esk River, in North Yorkshire county, England, United Kingdom, Europe.
