Historic Edwin Burn Viaduct, built for a logging tramway in 1916, now attracts hikers (trampers) on the Tuatapere Hump Ridge Track, in Fiordland National Park, South Island, New Zealand. Due to lack of sturdy structural lumber from native New Zealand forests, the viaduct was built from Australian hardwood to support logging trains.
