St. Michael the Archangel Parish church (Parrocchiale di San Michele / Pfarrkirche zum Hl. Michael) dates back to the 1200s and was converted to Baroque style in 1735, in the town of San Candido (Innichen), in Alta Pusteria (Pustertal), in Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol (South Tyrol), Italy, Europe. San Candido is a gateway to the Sesto Dolomites (Dolomiti di Sesto / Sexten / Sextner / Sextener Dolomiten) mountains. UNESCO honored the Dolomites as a natural World Heritage Site in 2009.
