Whale shark, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, in Tempozan Harbor Village of Osaka's bay area, Kansai Region, Honshu island, Japan. This spectacular aquarium presents sea life from around the Pacific Rim. Visitors start on the 8th floor and spiral down floor by floor around the dramatic nine-meters-deep central tank, representing the Pacific Ocean. Two whale sharks are the star attraction — the world's biggest fish, which lives in tropical and warm temperate seas around the world, from the coast of New York to southern Japan to the northern half of Australian waters.
