On the island of Kauai, these Moreton Bay Fig trees in Allerton Garden were filmed in the movie "Jurassic Park" (1993) in a scene where a nest of hatched eggs is discovered by Dr. Grant, who says: "Oh God. Know what this is? It's a dinosaur egg. The dinosaurs are breeding... Life found a way." Address: 4425 Lawai Rd, Koloa, HI 96756. Nestled in a valley transected by the Lawai Stream flowing into in Lawai Bay, Allerton Garden is one of five gardens of the non-profit National Tropical Botanical Garden (ntbg.org, in Hawaii and Florida, USA).
