This farmhouse, originally dating from 1569-1606 in Uesslingen in Thurgau canton, is now building #621 at Ballenberg Swiss Open-Air Museum, near Brienz, in Bern canton, Switzerland, Europe. Founded in 1978, Ballenberg displays traditional buildings and architecture from all over the country, making it a Swiss heritage site of national significance. Over 100 original buildings have been transported from their original sites. Over 100 original buildings have been transported from their original sites. Farmyard animals are raised, and some of the buildings give live demonstrations of traditional rural crafts, techniques, and cheesemaking.
