Bunchberry / Cornus canadensis / Dwarf Dogwood, Washington, USA

Bunchberry flowers (Cornus canadensis, or Dwarf Dogwood, Dwarf Cornel, or Crackerberry) bloom in the forest along the trail to Rachel Lake, in Alpine Lakes Wilderness, Washington, USA. Four large white sepals frame the tight head of small yellowish flowers (which later grow into tight clusters of bright red berries/fruits).
