Red, orange, yellow, brown, and white sandstone rock patterns are exposed in the Painted Cliffs of Maria Island National Park, Darlington, Tasmania, Australia. Undercut by the Tasman Sea (South Pacific Ocean), the Painted Cliffs date from the Permian and Triassic, 300-200 million years ago.
